Introduction to IoT

This course will give you a brief intro about the world of Internet of Things.The Internet of Things is an emerging topic of technical, social, and economic significance. Consumer products, durable goods, cars and trucks, industrial and utility components, sensors, and other everyday objects are being combined with Internet connectivity and powerful data analytic capabilities that promise to transform the way we work, live, and play. Projections for the impact of IoT on the Internet and economy are impressive, with some anticipating as many as 100 billion connected IoT devices and a global economic impact of more than $11 trillion by 2025.

This is an introductory course explaining the concepts of the Internet of Things(IoT) and the corresponding representations via utilization of open source board. This course will make you understand the components, setup process, initiation and utilization of it in both Standalone modes as well as IoT enabled mode.

5. Introduction to Development Boards and Sensors
5. Different Sensors and their integration with Arduino and NodeMCU
6. An Introduction to Application level Protocols like MQTT

8.Introduction to Cloud Integration Services.
9. Application development using MQTT and different Cloud Integration Services

Note: This course does not assume any prerequisites, but the knowledge of C and basic programming aptitude would be a good tipping point.
