Introduction to Navisworks

The BIM universe is a massive one which is so much more than modelling. With Navisworks, we’ll step into the world of 4D BIM. Navisworks includes the design and construction worlds. This course is designed for the residents of both construction personnel, architects and engineers who are looking to integrate the design and the as-built world.
We’ll learn about the User interface of Navisworks, the theoretical concepts related to different types of Navisworks files and different ways to import them. Then we’ll dive into the BIM coordination vertical as we learn about clash detection and generating reports. Finally we’ll create time simulations which encapsulate the Fourth dimension of BIM.
While the videos related to each topic show you one way of achieving a target, the textual explanations showcase multiple other ways of achieving the same. So it’s highly recommended that you go through both of them while practicing them by yourself. In order to complete this course you’ll have to answer all the assessment questions prescribed to the course. At the same time you’ll also have to solve the assignment by downloading the attached files(where applicable) and uploading your solution in the required format.
The pre requisites for this course include: working knowledge of Revit Architecture, Structure, basic knowledge of BIM.
